Upgrading an Existing Repository for Use with Oracle BI Infrastructure

To use an existing repository with the upgraded Oracle BI Infrastructure, use the following procedure.

To convert the older repository to the new platform format

1. Ensure that Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition is running.
2. Using the Oracle BI Infrastructure Server Administration Tool, open the repository file in online mode.
3. Save the repository file.

   NOTE:  If you omit this step, then when the upgraded Oracle BI Infrastructure uses the old repository file, the repository is converted to the new format in memory for use by Oracle BI Infrastructure, but the upgraded repository is not saved.
