Creating Scheduling Rules for the Siebel Analytics Web Server

Use the following procedure to create scheduling rules for the Siebel Analytics Web Server.

To create scheduling rules for the Siebel Analytics Web Server

1. Click on Scheduling Rules.
2. In the HTTP tab, do the following:
   1. In the VIP window, highlight the value.

      NOTE:  VIP is the Resonate term for Virtual IP address.

   2. In the Virtual Port field, enter any port number except 80.
   3. In the Server Ports field, insert 80.
   4. In the Servers window, highlight the appropriate DSN for Analytics Web Server.
   5. In the Resource field, select URL.
   6. In Path Expression field, enter the string /Analytics/* (include the slashes and asterisk).

      Click Add. If necessary, click Apply Changes.

3. Test the configuration.
   1. Launch a browser and type the Siebel Analytics URL, including the forward slash at the end.
   2. You should be able to log in and see your Siebel Analytics dashboards to check that PopChart is working.
