Using an Older Repository While Upgrading the Siebel Analytics Platform

It is possible to upgrade the Siebel Analytics platform while keeping the Siebel operational application on an existing previous version, repository, and schema. When Siebel Analytics is integrated with the Siebel operational application, the Analytics repository version must correspond to the transactional database and data warehouse database versions, but the version of the software does not have to match. For example, in an integrated environment, to use the Siebel Analytics version 7.5 repository and Web catalog, the Siebel operational application repository must also be on version 7.5, but the Siebel Analytics software may be on version 7.7.
