Installing GSKit on Windows

You install GSKit on the machine where Siebel Analytic Server resides.

To install GSKit on Windows

  1. Unzip the file P510W-01A.zip under the directory GSK to a temporary directory.
  2. Follow the instructions in P510W-01AReadme.txt.

    NOTE:  For gsk6bas.exe to run successfully, choose a directory whose name is not longer than 8 characters as the working directory. For example, C:\temp.

    By default, the GSKit is installed under C:\Program Files\IBM\GSK6.

  3. Verify that windows registry has been updated correctly with IBM GSKit keys:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\GSK6\CurrentVersion\Version = 6.0.4.41
