Shutting Down the Analytics Server

You can stop the Analytics Server (Siebel Analytics Server) in any of the following ways.

• Shutting Down the Server in Windows Services
• Shutting Down the Server from a Command Prompt in Windows
• Running the Analytics Server Shutdown Script in UNIX
• Shutting Down the Analytics Server Using the Administration Tool

When you shut down the server, any active client connections receive an error message and are immediately terminated, and any outstanding queries to underlying databases are cancelled.
