Troubleshooting Problems with an Event Polling Table


If you experience problems with cache polling, you can search the Analytics Server activity logs for any entries regarding the server's interaction with the event table.

  • The NQServer.log file logs activity automatically about the Analytics Server. The default location for this file is the Log folder in the Analytics Server software installation folder (\Siebel Analytics\Log). Log entries are self-explanatory and can be viewed using a text editor.
  • When the Analytics Server polls the event table, it will log the queries in the NQQuery.log file using the administrator user ID unless the logging level for the administrator is set to 0. You should set the logging level to 2 for the administrator user ID to provide the most useful level of information. The default location for the NQQuery.log file is the Log folder in the Analytics Server software installation folder (\Siebel Analytics).
