Installation Guidelines for the Marketing Module

To install the segmentation and list generation (Marketing module), you must install Oracle's Siebel Analytics version 7.7.1 or later, or Oracle Business Intelligence 10g release or later. In this guide, the term Marketing module refers to the module within the Oracle Presentation Services server that supports segmentation and list generation.

NOTE:  Oracle's Siebel Analytics platform has been renamed to Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. For versions higher than Siebel Analytics version 7.8.x, information is posted using a new version numbering system, for example, as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition v10.1.3.2.1 or higher.
