Applying Contact Planning Rules to Segments


You can apply contact planning rules to segments by adding them to criteria blocks. For information on how to create and edit criteria blocks, see Adding Criteria Blocks to Segments.

For example, a company implements a campaign that uses a segment called 'High value California Customers,' whose segment criteria is:

Start With

Customer Value = High

Keep

State = CA

In the context of executing an email campaign, the system should automatically apply the email rule that corresponds to channel = Email. The resulting segment is:

Start With

Customer Value = High

Keep

State = CA
