Oracle WebLogic Portlets for Groupware Integration Release Notes

This section describes problems that have been identified in Oracle WebLogic Portlets for Groupware Integration. For each problem listed in the following tables, a problem ID called a CR number is specified. These IDs enable Oracle and users to monitor the status of issues while solutions are developed.

CR366774
Messages marked with return-receipt enabled will be immediately notified.
Users that create mail messages using the Domino provider with return-receipt enabled may receive the receipt immediately following sending the message.

CR367706
Eclipse link to Groupware Plugins are not removed after uninstall.
The link file defining the location of the Groupware plugins is not removed after the Groupware product is uninstalled.
Configuration/Platform: All
Workaround: Customer that experience problems with this defect can manually remove the link file located in $ECLIPSE_HOME/links/com.bea.wlpgwi.link.
The following defines the default location of $ECLIPSE_HOME by product version when using the installed version of Workshop:
WebLogic Portal 9.2 – $BEA_HOME/workshop92/eclipse
WebLogic Portal 10.0 – $BEA_HOME/tools/eclipse32/eclipse
WebLogic Portal 10.2 – $BEA_HOME/tools/eclipse_pkgs/1.1/eclipse_3.2.2/eclipse
CR367832
Users may not immediately see a folder after moving it to the root of the message store (mail folder management).
Users may experience caching issues after moving a sub-folder to the root of the message store. When moving a sub-folder to the root of the store, the folder may appear to be deleted after performing the move operation.
Configuration/Platform: Exchange/MAPI
Workaround: Users that experience this issue can logout and login again to see the folder.
CR368023
The Groupware Administration portlet will not render when running on Solaris.
Users that utilize the Groupware Administration Portlet may experience rendering issues when deploying on a server running on Solaris.
The following error may be displayed:
‘javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: In the getmessage JSP extension tag, a variant cannot be provided without a country, and a country cannot be provided without a language.’

Workaround: There is no known workaround at this time.
CR368601
Groupware Administration Portlet reports tag error when editing user accounts.
Users may experience a tag error using the Administration portlet while attempting to manage user account properties. The following error will be displayed:
'Tag Error Message Could not find operation 'isPropertySet' with 0 parameter(s) on the current page flow.'

Workaround: There is no known workaround at this time.
CR372378
Folder inconsistencies when moving folders using the Domino Provider.
Users may experience inconsistencies when moving folders within the folder hierarchy using the Domino Provider. Some reports indicate that moving folders within sub folders may result in duplicate folder names under the root message store.
Configuration/Platform: Domino Provider
Workaround: Users that experience this issue may be able to remove/edit the duplicate folder using the standard folder management interface offered by the Groupware Portlets.

Users that decline an invitation to a meeting still receive notifications.
Users that decline an invitation to a meeting still receive notifications from the server when the appointment has been updated or deleted.

Workaround: There is no known workaround at this time.
CR373070
Incorrect status shown to other users when accepting a meeting as 'Tentative'.
Users that accept a meeting request as 'Tentative' show as 'Busy' in their calendar when other users perform 'Check Schedules' using the MAPI provider.

Workaround: There is no known workaround at this time.

Unable to resolve organizer of in invitations to meetings when using the MAPI provider.
Users that receive invitations to meeting from other users cannot see the 'Organizer' of the meeting because it is not being correctly resolved.

Workaround: There is no known workaround at this time.
CR373386
The Groupware Portlets are not compatible with remote publishing via WSRP.
Due to the heavy use of Javascript, the Groupware Portlets are not compatible and are not supported when published remotely via WSRP.
Configuration/Platform: Groupware Portlets exposed through WSRP
Workaround: Customers interested in publishing the Groupware Portlets remotely can evaluate Portlet Publishing (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13155_01/wlp/docs103/clientdev/publishing.html) as a viable alternative.
