Start the WLOC Administration Console

Before you begin

Review Get started using the WLOC Administration Console.


To start the WLOC Administration Console:

  1. Start the Controller.

    For more information, see Starting and Stopping the Controller and Agents.

  2. Open the following URL in a Web browser: http://hostname:port/wloc-console.

    Where hostname is the DNS name or IP address of the machine that is running the WLOC Controller and port is the address of the port on which the console can be accessed (9001 by default).

    To access the console in secure mode, open the following URL: https://hostname:port/wloc-console. In this case, you must set the console mode to Secure or Both when configuring the Controller. The secure port defaults to 9002.

    Note: You configure the hostname and port when creating the Controller using the Configuration Wizard, as described in Configuring the Controller and Agents.

  3. Enter the user name and password for the boot user on the Login page.

    The user name and password are defined when creating and configuring the Controller. The values default to the following:

    User name: WLOCBootUser

    Password: changeit

  4. Click Login.

    You are logged into the WLOC Administration Console.
