Installation

Oracle Tuxedo 10g Release 3 (10.3) for IBM i 6.1 is distributed in a .ZIP file. Before installation, extract this file to any directory and then start the installation.

Scope

This Oracle Tuxedo 10gR3 for IBM i 6.1 release supports all Oracle Tuxedo 10gR3 features generally available to all open systems, excluding the following:

MQAdapter is not supported on IBM i 6.1 (IBM MQSeries limitation)
Cert-C PKI Plug-in security is not supported
CORBA is not supported

Known Issues

Message priority maybe unstable according to OS bug (PMR 55341(DAR) - msgrcv() not retrieving correct message type).
SSL maybe unstable according to LDAP bug on IBM i 6.1 (PMR 59512 (JGA) - ldap_url_parse).
