BEA AquaLogic Service Registry is a fully v3-compliant implementation of UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration), and is a key component of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). The Registry is an easy-to-use, standards-based mechanism for publishing and discovering Web services and related SOA resources such as WSDL, XML Schemas and XSLT transformations.

Read This First  This book is recommended for all readers. It provides a product overview, release notes, product changes, the typographical conventions used throughout this guide.

Installation and Porting Guide  This book guides you through installing the Registry, installing and setting up databases, and porting the Registry to application servers.

User's Guide  This book describes how to manually maintain Registry contents. All basic functions of the Registry Console are discussed here.

Developer's Guide  Introduces the basics of creating extensions and client programs in the Registry.

Administrator's Guide  Explains the Registry's configuration and management, and introduces the tools and utilities you will need to perform these tasks.
