Deleting an Approval Request Message

Completed requests can be deleted from the Completed Request List or from the Unsubmitted Request List list.

To Delete from the Completed Request List

  1. Click the Tools tab.

  2. Click on the Completed Approval Requests link. This loads the Completed Approval Requests page. Note that the records are paged.

  3. Locate the request you wish to remove. Under the Action column click the Delete Icon ( ). This loads the Delete Selected Approval Request(s) to Unsubmitted Approval Requests page.

  4. If you want to procede with deleting the request click the Yes button.

    If you want to halt the deletion process click the No button.

    The Completed Requests Page will reload.

  5. If you clicked the Yes button the request will no longer appear in the list.

To Delete from the Unsubmitted Request List

  1. Click on the Tools tab.

  2. Click on the Unsubmitted Approval Requests link. This loads the Unsubmitted Approval Requests page.

  3. Check the box next to the request you want to delete.

  4. In the Action drop down listbox, select Delete.

  5. Click the Go button. This loads the Delete Selected Approval Request(s) page.

    Click the Yes button to procede.

    Click the No button to halt the delete action.

  6. The Unsubmitted Approval Requests page reloads. If you selected the Yes the request will no longer appear in the list.
