This book describes how to install and deploy AquaLogic Interaction WSRP Consumer 1.1. It also provides instructions for upgrading to WSRP Consumer 1.1 from earlier versions.
The AquaLogic Interaction WSRP Consumer allows you to embed WSRP-portlets in AquaLogic User Interaction Web applications. The WSRP Consumer acts as the intermediary between the portal and the raw WSRP portlet, known as the WSRP producer. The WSRP Consumer can run on the same platform as the producer, on the portal, or on a middle tier between the portal and the WSRP producers. This allows you felxability in scaling the portal deployment to many business units, each with their own portlets.
This guide has been designed to be a quick reference for users with installation experience, while also providing detailed instructions for users installing for the first time.
This guide is written for the user responsible for installing or upgrading WSRP Consumer. This user must have strong knowledge of the platform operating system, database, web and application servers, and any other third-party software required for installation.
