To learn what task list templates are and what they are used for, refer to What You Can Do with Tasks and Task List Templates.
Note: You must have permission to create task list templates. If you think you are supposed to be able to create task list templates, but you do not see the Task List Templates folder, contact your portal administrator.
The Task List Templates folder displays the following information about each task list:

Displays the name of the task list. |

Displays the date on which the task list was last changed. |
Last Modified By |
Displays the user who last changed the task list. |
You can perform the following actions in the Task List Templates folder:
To view the task lists in a particular folder, click the folder.
To view the details of a task list, click the task list (you can click anywhere in the row). To learn about the details, refer to Task List Details.
To create a new task list, click Create Task List. For more information, refer to Create or Edit Task List.
To edit a task list, check the box next to the task list and click . For more information, refer to Create or Edit Task List.
To delete a task list, check the box next to the task list and click .
To search for a task list template, type the text
you want to search for in the text box and click . Any
task list templates in the selected folder that meet your search criteria
will be displayed. For more information on how search works, refer to
Rules for Searches.
Note: Searches in the Task List Templates folders apply to the
following fields: Name and Last Modified By.
To remove your search criteria and display all task list templates
after performing a search, click .
To sort by column content, click the name of the column. displays next to the column name to show that the list is sorted in descending order by that column. If you click the column name again, the list will be sorted in ascending order () by that column.
You must have permission to perform the following action:
To create a new folder in which to store task lists, click New Folder.
To edit a task list folder (other than the root folder), click the folder, and then click .
To delete a task list folder (other than the root folder), click the folder, and then click .
Note: If you do not have access to create a new folder, but think you are supposed to, contact your portal administrator.
When you click a task list, the following details display:
