A task is an action that must be performed by one or more users. A task can be associated directly with a notification or it can be part of a task list template.
A task list template can be used in one of two ways:
The task list template can be associated with a system notification, and, if the tasks in the template change, the changes are propagated to the associated system notification.
The tasks from a task list template can also be copied into a manual notification or a system notification. Copied tasks can then be modified, and there is no association between the template and the notification, so any changes to the template are not propagated to the tasks in the notification.

When you view tasks assigned to you, you can also change the status
of the task.
View tasks assigned to users you manage (in your Manage folder).
