To learn what notifications are and what they are used for, refer to What You Can Do with Notifications.
The Inbox displays all the notifications you have received. It displays the following information for each notification:

Displays the importance of the notification. signifies high priority; signifies low priority. | |

Displays the name of the user who sent the notification. |
Subject |
Displays a brief description of the notification. |
Categories |
Displays the categories associated with the notification. |
Start Date |
Displays the date on which the earliest task is scheduled to begin. |
Due Date |
Displays the date by which the latest task must be completed. |
Status |
Displays whether any action has been taken on any task. |
You can perform the following actions in the Inbox:
To view the details of a notification, click the notification (you can click anywhere in the row). When you view the details, you can view and add tips or comments or change the status of the associated tasks. To learn about the details, refer to Notification Details.
To send a notification, click Create Manual Notification. For more
information refer to Create
or Edit Manual Notification.
Note: If you think you are supposed to be able to create manual
notifications, but you do not see the Create
Manual Notification button, contact your portal administrator.
To search for a notification, type the text you
want to search for in the text box and click . Any notifications
in the selected folder that meet your search criteria will be displayed.
For more information on how search works, refer to Rules
for Searches.
Note: Searches in the Inbox folder apply to the following fields:
To, From, Subject, and Categories.
To remove your search criteria and display all notifications after
performing a search, click .
To sort by column content, click the name of the column. displays next to the column name to show that the list is sorted in descending order by that column. If you click the column name again, the list will be sorted in ascending order () by that column.
If there are more than fifteen notifications, click Next (or click a page number) to view more notifications.
When you click a notification, the following details display:

Click Comments to display any comments from you or the sender or to add a new comment. | ||||||||||||||

Click Print to display the notification details in a printable format and to launch your computer's print function. | ||||||||||||||
