Manage Tips Folder

To learn what tips are and what they are used for, refer to What You Can Do with Tips.

Note: You must have permission to manage tips, and you can only manage tips submitted by users you manage. If you think you are supposed to be able to manage tips, but you do not see the Manage Tips folder, contact your portal administrator. This folder displays any unapproved tips created by users you manage. It displays the following information for each tip:

Tips

Displays the tip subject.

Categories

Displays the categories to which the tip belongs.

Created By

Displays the user who wrote the tip.

Created

Displays the date on which the tip was created.

You can perform the following actions in the Manage Tips Folder:

When you click a tip, the following details display:

Detail

Description

Rating

Displays the number of users who have found the tip helpful out of the total number of users who have rated the tip.

Subject

Displays the name of the tip.

Created By

Displays the user who submitted the tip.

Date Created

Displays the date the user submitted the tip.

Tip

Displays the full text of the tip.

Categories

Displays the categories associated with the tip.

Keywords

Displays any searchable keywords associated with the tip.

Did you find this tip helpful?

Allows you to rate this tip. Click Yes or No to specify if the tip contains useful information.
Note:
You cannot rate tips that you submitted. After you rate a tip, this option no longer displays.
