View Tips

To learn what tips are and what they are used for, refer to What You Can Do with Tips.

To view tips associated with a notification:

  1. Select the notification.

  2. Click Tips.

Tips are ordered by a weighted rating, meaning that if two tips have the same average user rating, the tip that has been rated more will be listed first. The following information is displayed for each tip:

Description

Rating

Displays the number of users who have found the tip helpful out of the total number of users who have rated the tip.

Subject

Displays the name of the tip.

Created By

Displays the user who submitted the tip.

Date Created

Displays the date the user submitted the tip.

Tip

Displays the full text of the tip.

Categories

Displays the categories associated with the tip.

Keywords

Displays any searchable keywords associated with the tip.

To submit your own tip, click Add Tip.  Tips do not display to other users until they are approved. For more information, refer to Create or Edit Tip.
Note:
You must have permission to create tips. If you think you are supposed to be able to create tips, but you do not see the Add Tip button, contact your portal administrator.
