The Guardian Agent collects data from your domain. This data is used during an evaluation to detect signatures that can cause problems in your domain.
The Guardian Agent uses Java Management Extensions (JMX), Java System Properties, and JDBC drivers to collect the data required by the signatures. To access this data, a Guardian Agent may be installed on each server in the domain during domain activation. If you have configured additional servers in your domain since activation, additional Guardian Agents may be installed during evaluation.
