Following are descriptions of the more interesting changes made to BEA Guardian for the Version 1.0.2 release. To get Guardian Version 1.0.2, click the Update button in the toolbar of your existing Guardian Version 1.0 installation.
The Guardian Signature Repository has been restructured to include a directory for each supported local language. The archives subdirectory now includes directories for English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. The English and Chinese directories are further subdivided into directories for each regional language preference - US for United States, CN for mainland China, and TW for Taiwan. As local language signatures become available, the JAR file that contains them will replace the US English JAR file that currently resides in each directory.
There was a problem where specifying a locale in your guardian.ini file (-Duser.language= and -Duser.country=) other than en_US, ja, ko, zh_CN, or zh_TW would cause Guardian to fail to conduct evaluations, due to not being able to find the signature JAR file. Now, if you specify a locale other than en_US, ja, ko, zh_CN, or zh_TW in guardian.ini, Guardian will use the signature JAR file in the archives subdirectory of the Signature Repository. That signature JAR file is in US English, but you can replace it with one of the other supported localized signature files when they become available, if you prefer.

Under certain circumstances related to deselecting recommended attachments, the Support Case Wizard would leave the Finish button unselectable in the Select eSupport Site Id dialog box. Now, the Finish button is active regardless of the attachments you select or deselect.
