Note:
Object security is respected in Custom views. Although Custom views let
you see the items and people that are tagged by other users and groups
(members), you will not be able to see items and people that you do not
have access to.
Creating and Editing
Custom Views
You
must have the Create Views capability to create and edit a Custom view.
You must also have Select access to the users and groups you want to add
as members of your Custom view.
To create a Custom view:
- Navigate to the Search page (Enhanced Mode).
- Click the View drop-down list.
- Perform one of the following:
- To create a Custom view, select New
View...
The View Editor appears.
- To edit a Custom view, click
next to the name of the Custom view that you want to edit.
The View Editor appears.
- (optional when
editing a Custom view) In the Name
box, type the name of the view.
- (optional when
editing a Custom view) Perform the following:
- Click the Members
tab.
- Click Add
to launch the Select Users and Groups dialog box.
- Choose the users or groups whose My Tags views
you want to add to your Custom view.
- Click OK.
You are returned to the View Editor.
- (optional)
To remove a user or group, highlight the users and groups that you want
to remove, then click Remove.
- Click Save.
Deleting Custom Views
You must have the Create
Views capability to delete a Custom view.
When you delete a Custom view, it is deleted for all subscribers of
the Custom view. You cannot delete a Custom view that was created by another
person.
To delete a Custom view:
- Navigate to the Search page (Enhanced Mode).
- Click the View drop-down list.
- Click
next to the Custom view that
you want to delete.
A confirmation box appears.
- Click OK.
