People Tab (Simple Mode)

You must have the View People capability to view the People tab. The People tab displays the people that are returned in your results after you perform a search on the Search page. (To view the items that are returned in your search results, click the Items tab.)

If you have selected the Show scores option on the Pathways Preferences page, Pathways displays the relevancy score and ActivityRank for each person. Scores are rounded to the nearest two decimal points (for example, the score of 3.87635 is rounded to 3.88).

Note: You must clear the Show results in Enhanced Mode option on the Pathways Preferences page to view the People tab in Simple Mode.

Common Actions

You must have the View Tags capability to view tags. Click a tag to view the people that the tag is applied to.
Create a more complex search query using Pathways Search Syntax.
In the search results, click the name of a person to view his or her user profile.
Drill down within the search results to further narrow your search.

Click	To
<name of person>	View the person's Pathways user profile.
Apply Tags	You must have the Add Tags capability to apply tags. Apply tags to and remove tags from the person. Clicking this link also lets you view all of the tags that are applied to the person. You can only remove tags that you have applied.
Add to contacts	You must have the Add Favorites and Contacts capability to add contacts. Add the person to your Contacts list. Tip: To view all of your Contacts, choose the Favorites & Contacts view, then perform a search with a blank search query. Note: Contacts are unrelated to tags. Adding people to your Contacts list has no impact on the tags that are applied to those people.
Remove from contacts	Remove the person from your Contacts list.
