Toolbar Buttons

The Configuration Expert has two toolbars: the Expert toolbar (horizontal, directly under the menu bar) for general navigation commands and settings, and the Configuration toolbar for editing the configuration tree (vertical, next to the tree).

The Expert toolbar is directly below the menu bar. Table 2-2 describes the Expert toolbar buttons available for frequently used actions.

	Opens a new configuration file
	Opens an existing configuration file
	Closes the current configuration
	Saves the current configuration
	Opens the Settings windows for the Configuration Expert (where you can set properties for General, Objects, and Output)

The Configuration toolbar is located between the left and right panel on the main window. Table 2-3 describes the Configuration toolbar buttons available for frequently used actions.

	Creates a new server and adds it to the Available Servers display list on the right panel Steps window
	Adds the selected item in the Available Resources view (right panel) to the current configuration (left panel tree)
	Deletes the selected item in the configuration tree from the configuration
	Opens the properties windows for the selected item in either the configuration tree. From the object properties windows, you can modify the object by redefining attributes for the given fields.
