How it Works

Since BEA TUXEDO application interfaces (ATMI) were not originally designed to be used in an object-oriented environment (they are C function based), the Rose Expert creates a C++ framework over the ATMI that makes BEA TUXEDO service programming natural for C++ programmers.

With Rational Rose and the BEA TUXEDO Builder plug in Rose Expert you can step through the various application design phases supported by the Rational Rose (analysis, design, code, and test) using the various Rose views (Use Case view, Logical view, Component view and so on) to develop a BEA TUXEDO application.

When you get to the stage where you have defined component packages, you can use the Rose Expert to:
