The following features are new in BEA WebLogic XML/Non-XML Translator 2.0: Integration with WebLogic Process Integrator The XML Translator Plug-In for WebLogic Process Integrator provides for an exchange of information between applications by supporting data translations between binary formats from legacy systems and XML. The XML Translator Plug-In provides Process Integrator actions that allow you to access XML to Binary and Binary to XML translations. Format Tester Enhancements The Format Tester has been enhanced with improved user interface layout and data display capabilities. Repository The Repository feature allows you to store documents in a database that can be accessed from remote systems. This allows you to share message formats (MFL documents), document type definitions (DTDs), and XML schema documents (XSD documents) between XML Translator, WebLogic Process Integrator, WebLogic Application Integration, and WebLogic Collaborate. User Defined Data Types XML Translator includes a User Defined Data Type feature that allows you to create custom data types specific to your unique data type requirements. Additional Importers XML Translator now includes a C structure importer utility that converts a C structure definition into an MFL Message Definition by generating MFL or C Code output. Also included is an FML Field Table Class Importer that facilitates the integration of WebLogic Tuxedo Connector and WebLogic Process Integrator. |
