public class Win32Sid

extends java.lang.Object

This class provides methods to look up Windows 32 security identifiers from account names, and account names from security identifiers. This class:

• only works on Windows machines
• requires having win32sid.dll in the PATH of the virtual machine
• must be running in a VM with permission loadLibrary.win32sid or loadLibrary.*

Gets a SID from a domain name and username.

Parameters:

sSystemName - the system to look up the SID on (or null to use the local system)

sAccount - the account name (in the form DOMAIN\Username)

Returns:

the SID, or null if it could not be found

getSid

Gets a SID from a domain name and username.

Parameters:

sAccount - the account name (in the form DOMAIN\Username)

Returns:

the SID, or null if it could not be found

getSidAsString

Gets a SID from a domain name and username.
