Edition Note - This is the first Edition of BEA WebLogic Portlets for Siebel Version1.0 Software Release Note. Information in this document applies to BEA WebLogic Portlets for Siebel with Version 1.0.

Overview

BEA WebLogic Portal suite of applications can be integrated with Siebel 7.0.4 System in a number of ways.

BEA WebLogic Portlets for Siebel is a productized integration of BEA WebLogic Portal suite and back-end Siebel ERP application.

However, for this release, only a part of the business process is covered as per the Release contents section.

Problem Reports Fixed in This Release

As part of merging both SAP and SIEBEL portals, the column LABEL of table PNET_PAGELET_PARAM has been updated as LABELNAME.
The table PNET_USER_PARAM_MAP needs to be altered, which is as part of merging both SAP and SIEBEL. (The columns to be added are: PARAM_VALUE1, PARAM_VALUE2).
Since the .portal file names are similar for both SAP and SIEBEL, the file name for SEIBEL has been renamed as BEASiebelPortalNet.portal.
When a Service Request is created the list is sorted based on 'Created Date'.
Customer Contact details reflect the changes, which are updated.
