public class waiton
extends Object
This example demonstrates how the WebLogic extension to Connection waitOnResources() can be used to return control to the program when the current operation would otherwise wait (in this case indefinitely) for locked DBMS resources.

This example is run on the command line and is output to System.out.

To set up this example:

  1. Set up your development shell as described in Setting up your environment.

  2. Change connection parameters to correspond to your Oracle configuration.

  3. Compile this example by executing the following command in your development shell: If you need more help, check the section on connecting to a database in the Developers Guide, Using jdbcKona/Oracle.

    $ javac -d %CLIENT_CLASSES% waiton.java

  4. Run this example by executing the following command in your development shell:

    $ java examples.jdbc.oracle.waiton
