The EJB container manages the mapping between the logical and physical relationships at runtime and manages their referential integrity. Persistent fields and relationships make up the entity bean's abstract persistence schema. Entity beans can have relationships with other beans. These relationships can be either bidirectional or unidirectional. WebLogic Server supports three types of relationship mappings that are managed by WebLogic container-managed persistence (CMP):
- One-to-one
- One-to-many
- Many-to-many
