Realm Adapter Authenticator --> General

Additional Documentation     Additional Documentation     Attributes

Overview

The Realm Adapter Authentication provider allows you to use 6.x security realms and their data stores with the WebLogic security providers in WebLogic Server 7.0.

The Realm Adapter Authentication provider also allows you to use implementations of the weblogic.security.acl.CertAuthenticator class with WebLogic Server 7.0.

The Supported Types attribute defines the type of tokens supported by the Identity Assertion provider. The Identity Assertion provider in the Realm Adapter Authentication provider supports only X.509 tokens. This token type provides backward compatibility for implementations of the weblogic.security.acl.CertAuthenticator class. This attribute is read only.

Each Identity Assertion provider supports only one type of token at a time. The Active Type attribute defines what type of token is currently being used by the Identity Assertion provider. The Identity Assertion provided in the Realm Adapter Authenticator supports X.509 token types. This attribute is read only.
