Roles

Use this tab to create a global role for the default security realm. Roles refer to a set of users who all have the same permissions to access resources. They define a condition under which access is granted. Roles are a mechanism for authenticating users in a security realm. Roles can be granted to individual users or to groups. For more efficient management, BEA recommends granting roles to groups rather than to individual users.
