Application --> Deploy
Overview
The Application > Deploy tab displays the Target, Target Type, and Deployment Status of each J2EE module in the selected Enterprise Application, as well as the status of the last deployment action performed on each module. You can use the Application > Deploy tab to stop, redeploy, or deploy Enterprise Application modules.
For J2EE modules that are targeted to a single server, possible Deployment Status values are:
- Available—The module is deployed to the server.
- Not Available—The module is not deployed to the server.
J2EE modules that are targeted to a WebLogic Server cluster or virtual host can potentially display a Deployment Status of Partially Available, which means the module is deployed only to a subset of servers in the targeted cluster or virtual host. For more information about the deployment status of a module targeted to a cluster or virtual host, select the module's Deployment Status from the table. The Administration Console displays a new page with the Availability Status of the module on each individual server instance. Potential Availability Status values are:
- Distributed—For staged applications, this status means the deployment files have been copied (staged) on the target server instance, but the module is not yet deployed.
- Available—The module is deployed on the target server instance.
- Not Distributed—The module has not been distributed or deployed to the target server instance.
Use the buttons at the bottom of the Application > Deploy tab to Stop, Redeploy, or Deploy all modules in the application. To stop, redeploy, or deploy an individual module in the application, select the name of the module and then select the Deploy tab. From the modules Deploy page, you can click a button next to the module name to Stop, Redeploy, or Deploy the module.
