What Are Plug-Ins?

Plug-ins are small software programs that developers use to extend a WebLogic Server implementation. Plug-ins enableWebLogic Server to communicate with applications which have been deployed on a different Web Server. WebLogic Server can then handle those requests that require the dynamic functionality of WebLogic Server. These are usually the requests that can best be served with dynamic HTML pages or JSPs (Java Server Pages).
