This MBean describes all the destinations to which SNMP traps can be sent.

Deprecation of MBeanHome and Type-Safe Interfaces

This is a type-safe interface for a WebLogic Server MBean, which you can import into your client classes and access through weblogic.management.MBeanHome. As of 9.0, the MBeanHome interface and all type-safe interfaces for WebLogic Server MBeans are deprecated. Instead, client classes that interact with WebLogic Server MBeans should use standard JMX design patterns in which clients use the javax.management.MBeanServerConnection interface to discover MBeans, attributes, and attribute types at runtime. getCommunity

public String getCommunity()

The password (community name) that WebLogic Server sends to the SNMP manager.

Note that there are two community names that are needed when WebLogic Server interacts with an SNMP manager:

• The community name that the SNMP manager defines. The community name that you enter in this trap destination must match the name that the SNMP manager defines. The WebLogic SNMP agent sends this name when connecting to the manager.

• The name that you specify in the WebLogic SNMP agent's Community Prefix. All SNMP managers must send this name when connecting to the WebLogic SNMP agent.

The WebLogic SNMP agent sends trap notifications to the host and port that you specify on this tab.
