Working with Promotional Items Dropped Records for Calls


You can add, review, update, or remove promotional items dropped records for a contact call or attendee call with a status of In Progress before submitting the call for processing. Only promotional item products that meet the following criteria are available for dropping off at a customer location:

  • The products have been allocated to the sales representative.
  • The products are available in the sales representative inventory.
  • The products are active on the current date.

To work with promotional items dropped records for a call

  1. Tap Calls on the application banner to display the Calls list.

    The Calls list for today's date is displayed by default.

  2. Tap a call in the Calls list.

    All details for the selected call are displayed in the work area on the Call Details page. For more information about the call details page, see Displaying Call Details.

  3. Add new promotional items dropped records for the call as follows:
    1. Tap Promotional Items Dropped in the work area, and then the Add icon.

      The Promo Items page opens showing the promotional items that are available for dropping off at a customer location, and it includes the information shown in the following table.

      Field Name
      Description

      Name

      The name of the promotional item. This is a read-only field.

      Quantity

      The quantity of the promotional item to be distributed. This field is required if you are adding a new promotional item dropped line item for a call.

      Max Qty

      The maximum quantity of promotional items that sales representatives are allowed to drop off to a customer in the allocation period. This is a read-only field.

      Available Qty

      The amount of promotional item that is currently available to the sales representative. This is a read-only field.

    2. Enter a value in the Quantity field for each promotional item that you want to drop off, and then tap OK.
  4. Edit an existing record as follows:
    1. Select the promotional items dropped record.
    2. Tap Edit, update the Quantity field as required, then tap Save when finished.
  5. To remove a record, swipe over the record that you want to delete, and then tap Delete.
