Logging a New Service Request


While on a customer visit, you might discover another problem requiring attention, and you must log a new service request for the customer.

To log a new service request

  1. Tap Accounts on the application banner.
  2. Select a record in the Accounts list.
  3. Tap Assets.
  4. Tap the Asset number (#) field.
  5. In the Asset Details list, verify the applicable warranties.
  6. Tap Back to return to the Assets list.
  7. To confirm the service level entitlement, tap Entitlements.
  8. Verify the entitlements in the Entitlements list.
  9. To log a new service request, tap Service Requests, and then tap the New (+) icon.
  10. Complete the fields in the New SR form.
  11. Tap OK.
