Finding Records with Barcode Readers (End User)

You can use the barcode toolbar and the barcode reader to find records in Siebel Field Service.

This task is a step in Process of Managing Records with Barcode Readers.

To find a record with a barcode reader

1. On the Barcode toolbar, click Find.
2. If multiple values appear on the Use drop-down list, then select the type of information contained in the barcode (for example, a repair number).
3. Scan the barcode.

   If the data exists in the Siebel database, then the record that matches the barcode input appears.
