Changing System Preferences for the Cycle Counting Engine


You can change the system preferences for the cycle counting engine.

This task is a step in Process of Administering Cycle Counting.

To change the system preferences for the Cycle Counting Engine

  1. Navigate to Administration - Application screen, then the System Preferences view.
  2. Select a system preference for the Cycle Counting Engine.

    For more information about system preferences for the Cycle Counting Engine, see Table 39.

  3. In the System Preference Value field, enter a new value.
  4. To implement changes to system preferences, restart the Field Service server.

Table 39 describes the system preferences for the Cycle Counting Engine.

Specifies the valid values for the availability code of the inventory level. The values come from the Bucket Availability Code LOV, and individual values are LIVs.

BucketStatusCDtobeCounted

Good

Specifies the valid values for the status code of the inventory level. The values come from the Bucket Status Code LOV, and individual values are LIVs.

Only the inventory levels (buckets) with an Availability field value and a Status field value that match the values in the above system preferences are included in the cycle counting process.
