Configuring Find Enhancements

The configuring find enhancements that are available for you to implement include:

NOTE:  Configuration of the following Find enhancements is optional and can vary depending on the fields used during the implementation.

• Enhanced Find for Contacts: Allow users to define a view that can be used to query and filter records in the Contact List applet. The query can be based on the field defined in the parent (Contact) and child business components.
• Enhanced Find for Accounts: Allow users to define a view that can be used to query and filter records in the Account List applet. The query can be based on the field defined in the parent (Account) and child business components.
• Enhanced Find for Contact Calls: Allow users to define a popup applet that can be used to query and filter records in the Contact Pick applet for selecting the Contact to call on. The query can be based on the field defined in the parent (Contact) and child business components.
• Enhanced Find for Account Calls: Allow users to define a popup applet that can be used to query and filter records in the Account Pick applet for selecting the Account to call on. The query can be based on the field defined in the parent (Account) and child business components.

  NOTE:  When defining captions or displays, use symbolic strings for multi-lingual implementations. Define new symbolic string if you need to use different values.
