Updating Function and Nonfunction Line Item Prices for a Meeting Package in Quotes

You can update function and nonfunction line item prices for a meeting package.

To update function line items prices for a meeting package, follow this procedure.

To update function line item prices for a meeting package

1. Navigate to Quotes screen, then the List view.
2. In the Quotes list, query for the quote record.
3. In the Quote record, click the link in the Quote # field.
4. Click the Functions view tab.
5. Select a Function and scroll down to the Line Items list.
6. In the Line Items list, select a core line item.
7. In the Line Item view, click Menu and select Adjust Meeting Package Price.

   NOTE:  The Adjust Meeting Package Price is disabled for non-core line items and also when Event Check is posted for the function order.

8. In the Adjust Meeting Package Price window, do one of the following:

   NOTE:  For the DD/CMP Function, DD Pkg Price/Day, and CMP Pkg Price/Day, both are enabled in the Adjust Meeting Package Price window.

   1. For DD Pkg Price / Day New Value field, enter the new value.

      NOTE:  For the DD Function, CMP Pkg Price/Day is disabled in the Adjust Meeting Package Price window.

   2. For the CMP Pkg Price New Value field, enter the new value. This value excludes guest rooms.

      NOTE:  For the CMP Function, DD Pkg Price/Day is disabled in the Adjust Meeting Package Price window.

   3. For the Negotiated Price New Value field, enter the new value.
   4. Click Calculate to view the new pricing results.
   5. Click OK to save your changes.

      NOTE:  You can either provide a new value in DD Pkg Price/Day New Value field or enter the new value in the Negotiated Price New Value field. Only one new value can be entered.

To update nonfunction line items prices for a meeting package, follow this procedure.

To update nonfunction line item prices for a meeting package

1. Navigate to Quotes screen, then the List view.
2. In the Quotes list, query for the quote record.
3. In the Quote record, click the link in the Quote # field.
4. Click the Non Function Line Items view tab.
5. Select a Non Function Line Item, and scroll down to the Line Items list.
6. In the Line Items list, select a core line item.
7. In the Line Item view, click Menu and select Adjust Meeting Package Price.
8. In the Adjust Meeting Package Price window, do one of the following:
   1. For DD Pkg Price / Day New Value field, enter the new value.
   2. For the CMP Pkg Price New Value field, enter the new value. This value excludes guest rooms.
   3. For the Negotiated Price New Value field, enter the new value.
   4. Click Calculate to view the new pricing results.
   5. Click OK to save your changes.
