The interactive processing component runs in the address space of the Siebel EAI Application Object Manager process when processing Web services, instead of in its own address space. As a result, you do not have to start the Loyalty Engine interactive component to enable Siebel Loyalty Web services processing. NOTE: The functionality described in this topic requires that you install Siebel CRM Release 8.1.1.9 or later, or 8.2.2.3 or later.
