Displaying Promotions in a Calendar Format

To help decide which promotions to submit for approval, loyalty administrators can view promotions in a calendar format for a graphic view of what time periods are covered by which promotions. Viewing time periods enables administrators to avoid both overwhelming members with promotions, and neglecting to provide members with any promotions during some periods.

This task is a step in Process of Approving Loyalty Promotions.

To display promotions in a calendar format

1. Navigate to the Loyalty Promotions Administration screen.
2. In the show drop-down list, select one of the Promotions - Gantt Chart options.

   Siebel Loyalty displays a calendar view with each promotion listed, with a colored bar showing the time period it covers.

3. If you want to see details of a promotion, then click the hyperlink in its Name field.

NOTE:  The functionality to display promotions in calendar format is available if you are using Siebel Loyalty with a high-interactivity client or a standard-interactivity client; it is not available if your administrator has implemented Siebel Open UI.
