Resuming a Paused Task UI Operation

On any Task UI screen, you can stop the operation that you are working on and return later to complete it.

NOTE:  You cannot pause tasks within Siebel Configurator. After completing a Configurator session, your Siebel application returns control to the Task UI, where the task can be paused.

To resume a paused Task UI operation

1. On any view of a Task UI operation that you want to save and exit before it is completed, click Pause.

   Your Siebel application saves the incomplete operation to your Inbox.

2. When you are ready to continue the operation, navigate to the Inbox screen, then the Inbox Items List view.
3. In the Inbox Items list, find the Task UI operation that you want to resume, and click the link in the Name field.

   The Task UI view where you paused is redisplayed. The data that you entered and the objects that you created previously are saved intact.

4. Continue the Task UI operation where it was paused before.
