Displaying the Communications Toolbar

If your Siebel user name has been included as an agent for a communications configuration, then the communications toolbar appears near the top of the browser window containing the Siebel application.

An icon on the application toolbar, Toggle CTI Toolbar, lets you display or hide the communications toolbar. If the communications toolbar is displayed, click the Toggle CTI Toolbar icon to hide the toolbar. If the communications toolbar is hidden, click this icon to display the toolbar.

You can optionally display the communications toolbar as a separate panel that you can move to any location in the browser window. To display the communications toolbar in this way, point to the Toggle CTI Toolbar icon when the communications toolbar is hidden. To move the communications toolbar, drag it to a new location. To hide the communications toolbar again, click Toggle CTI Toolbar or click outside the toolbar panel.

NOTE:  The Toggle CTI Toolbar icon and the functionality described in this topic are supported only for deployments using Siebel Open UI.
