This guide describes how to secure your portal applications. Use the security techniques described in this guide to assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your portal applications and application resources.
This document is primarily intended for portal and system administrators who use the Portal Administration Console to configure a portal's security features like delegated administration and visitor entitlements. Developers will find information in this guide on implementing login and logout programatically, securing resources using deployment descriptors, and securing third-party applications using the credential vault.
