The MSI package definition files have been updated to work with the Windows Installer XML Toolset (WiX) version 4.0.1. Note that the files can no longer be used with previous version 3 of the toolset. (WL #15846)

Connector/C++ now supports WebAuthn authentication for client applications using the legacy JBDC API (that is, applications not using X DevAPI or X DevAPI for C). WebAuthn authentication enables users to authenticate to MySQL Server using WebAuthn-aware devices based on either the FIDO or FIDO2 standard.
