This book describes the functional and apparent differences between the Solaris Trusted Extensions release and the previous Trusted Solaris 8 releases. Differences include installation, interfaces, security policy, and supported hardware. The book also describes the features that Trusted Extensions adds to the Solaris Operating System, to the windowing system and desktop, and to the Solaris Management Console.
