Preface

SunTM Cluster 3.0 U1 Concepts contains conceptual and reference information for the SunPlexTM system. The SunPlex system includes all hardware and software components that make up Sun's cluster solution.

This document is intended for experienced system administrators who are trained on Sun Cluster software. Do not use this document as a planning or presales guide. You should have already determined your system requirements and purchased the appropriate equipment and software before reading this document.

To understand the concepts described in this book, you should have knowledge of the SolarisTM operating environment and expertise with volume manager software used with the SunPlex system
