Preface

This manual contains supplemental information about Sun trademark Management
Center 3.5 for Netra Servers, which is an extension to Sun Management Center software. This extension enables customers to manage supported Netra and Sun Fire server systems.

How This Book Is Organized

Chapter 1 explains what you need to know before installing and using Sun Management Center on your Netra server.

Chapter 2 explains specific system considerations when installing and using Sun Management Center on Netra systems.

Chapter 3 describes how to install and set up Sun Management Center on a Netra server.

Typographic Conventions

Typeface	Meaning	Examples
`AaBbCc123`	The names of commands, files, and directories; on-screen computer output	Edit your `.login` file. Use `ls` `-a` to list all files. `% You have mail`.
`AaBbCc123`	What you type, when contrasted with on-screen computer output	`%` `su` `Password:`
AaBbCc123	Book titles, new words or terms, words to be emphasized	Read Chapter 6 in the User's Guide. These are called class options. You must be superuser to do this.
	Command-line variable; replace with a real name or value	To delete a file, type `rm` filename.
